Use Muse to find shops and Cleo to call them

Muse can handle the thinking: research nearby businesses, work out what to ask, and compare the answers. Cleo handles the calls. Cleo documents a custom API integration for Muse setups that can make external API requests and store credentials securely. Cleo's Muse onboarding guide

For example, ask Muse, "Find five repair shops near me, then use Cleo to call them and ask about availability and pricing." Muse can prepare the shortlist and questions. After you approve the destinations and requests, the integration submits a separate Cleo call for each shop. Muse can use the returned results to compare confirmed answers and flag anything the shops did not answer. Each call uses your Cleo allowance and stays within your plan's time limit.

Start with the documented instruction: "Muse, read Cleo's connection instructions and follow the Cleo onboarding instructions." The setup includes U.S. phone verification and a Cleo API key. Check that your Muse setup has the required tools and permissions before using it to place calls. Full onboarding steps

Check the calling feature available to you

Meta was testing outbound calls to U.S. businesses in September 2026. We have not independently verified current Muse phone access or a universal calling allowance. Before handing over a phone errand, check whether calling is enabled in your account, whether it supports the request, and what limits apply. 404 Media's September 22 report

If you already use Muse and it supports your errand, you may be able to keep the task there. For a Cleo call, signup requires U.S. phone verification. You review the business, request, and limits before approving; saving a task does not dial. Cleo capabilities

Free access and paid plans

Meta describes free Muse usage with limits and paid subscriptions for more usage. A phone-specific price was not verified for this comparison. Meta's Muse pricing explanation

Cleo Free includes five calls each calendar month, up to three minutes each, without a payment method. Cleo's prepaid pack costs $5 USD for 15 minutes after the free allowance. Prepaid calls retain the three-minute cap, usage rounds up to whole minutes, and unused minutes do not expire. Cleo pricing

Cleo Pro costs $20 USD every 30 days and renews automatically until canceled. It includes unlimited calls while active, with a ten-minute cap per call including hold time. Taxes may apply. Cleo pricing

For a repair update, give Cleo the shop's number, repair reference, and question you need answered. Read the result for confirmed details or anything still unresolved. Long holds, service cancellations, and automatic retries are not confirmed Cleo features. Cleo capabilities
